NAVIGATING THE TRAIL FROM MILISHEVC TO REKA ALLEGES
The trail begins from the small village of Milishevc and climbs directly north via the mule track which crosses the Bjeshka e Lumbardhit ridge. After the climb you will reach a beautiful meadow with breathtaking views towards Gjeravica Mountain (the highest in Kosovo), Marjashi peak (southwest from our position), and Milishevc.
Continue north towards Guri i Kuq Mountain which you can identify by it’s red rock formations. Soon you will reach a broad path which takes you to Pusi i Magareve – a small lake for cattle. Follow the path north with the lake on our right and then begin a steep descent north along a mule track. The hike continues along a mule track through the forest. The descent follows north along the mule tracks, dirt roads, and some junctions until you reach Rrugova Camp Hotel which is located next to the main road. Rrugova Camp is an inviting place to have a rest before finishing this day hike at Reka e Allagёs village.
From here you are about 7km away from the finish line, but the remaining section is asphalt. For this reason, I recommend hitching a ride or taking a taxi.

This is a great hike on The Peaks of the Balkans Trail, but there are a few reasons why it is not my favorite. First, it is difficult to navigate and second, the asphalt section at the really takes away from the adventure. All in all, if you have your mind set on completing The Peaks of the Balkans Trail, this hike will not disappoint.
CONTINUING THE PEAKS OF THE BALKANS
The next stage of the trail takes you from Reka e Alleges to Kucishte.
